Hydrovane Rotary Vane Compressors
Best Use
Hydrovane rotary vane compressors are designed for "24 X 7"
continuous operation. They are best suited for applications where
pressures up to 150 psig are required and where air demand is needed
frequently or at all times.
Why Hydrovane?
The key to the success of the Hydrovane compressor is the unique
rotary vane principle. The compressor operates at a very low speed
providing total reliability and a long component life.
The rotor, the only continually moving part, has a number of slots into
which fit sliding vanes that ride on a film of oil. The rotor rotates
within the stator. During rotation, centrifugal force extends the vanes
from their slots, forming individual compression cells. Its design is
inherently reliable and well suited for continuous operation.
Fixed speed compressors offer the best efficiency when delivering 100%
capacity, however there is an energy loss when operating at partial
load. Using state-of-the-art inverter control, the Hydrovane Variable
Speed Drive (VSD) series efficiently regulate the compressor speed to
precisely meet the air system demand - offering significant energy
savings. With a Hydrovane VSD compressor, you get all the advantages of
a rotary vane compressor, combined with the latest technology in energy
savings. Reliability - Continuous Operation - the Best in Energy
Efficiency!
